Carol Nibley Brooks, DDS, 65, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 2. She graduated from the MCV School of Dentistry in 1994. She went on to teach and mentor dental students until she retired June 30, 2017. She was loved by patients and students alike because of her generous, serving spirit. She helped start the Mission of Mercy Projects, traveling all over the Commonwealth providing free dental services to those in need. She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Nibley, brothers Neil and Reed Nibley, and by her daughter Jennifer Gough (Roy) and son Seth Brooks (Ann). She is also survived by her four beloved grandchildren, Skylar, Spencer, Avery and Malachi. Her family will host a Celebration of Life ceremony, which will be announced at a future date.
