Micah Hughes Royall, age 33, of Jetersville, passed away on September 6, 2009. A devoted Husband, Father, Brother and Son, he has been a Henrico Firefighter since 2000, a deacon at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, a member of the Amelia Ambulance Service and the Fellowship of Christian Firefighters. He is survived by his wife Janet, sons James Micah Royall and Luke Christian Royall; parents John S. Royall and Charlotte H. Royall of Hanover, brothers Jon Thomas Royall of Clifton Forge, VA and Adam Lee Royall of Chesterfield, sister Crystal Ethel Marie Royall of AL; grandmothers Elaine Barlow Cramme of Richmond and Ethel May Royall of Amelia; and nephew Sidney Thomas Royall and niece Keira Ashlyn Royall. He was predeceased by his grandfather Sidney Thomas Royall. Visitation on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 2-4:00 pm and 6-8:00 pm at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. Funeral services will be held at Sandy Creek Baptist Church on Thursday, September 10 at 2:00 pm with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Contributions may be made in Micahs name to the Sandy Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, Box 130, Jetersville, VA 23083.
