I can't begin to say how much Shirley meant to me. She was my second mother. I always remember Shirley with a smile. I don't think I ever remember her being angry. Shirley is the sweetest person, and everyone who knew her knows this. She was a classy lady! I loved the times I got to spend with Shirley and Clyde and my cousins every summer at their house. What wonderful memories I have of those times. I loved getting up at 6:00 am to work in their garden before it got hot. Then there was family time around the kitchen table eating butter beans and tomato biscuits before going to bed. I love that till now. Shirley, I already miss you terribly. But, I know you are with Clyde and you are happy, and that makes me happy. The memory of your smile brightens my sad days. Until we meet again, I'll remember you with happiness and love. ❤️
