Adele G. Doran of Amelia was born in Amelia on November 26, 1934 to Wilson and Alta Robertson Holder.  She is survived by her son, Bruce E. Smith of Amelia, her daughter Sharon S. Rider of Kentucky; sisters Beulah Golden and  Nancy Elliott, both of Amelia and Melissa Reisner of Richmond and her brother, W. C. Holder, Jr. of Amelia.  She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her son Steven.  Funeral services 11AM on Saturday Dec. 27, at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court in Amelia with burial in Rennie Memorial Cemetery.  Visiting Friday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Rennie Memorial Church.
