Albert Paustenbach, age 92, of Amelia, passed from this life on June 12, 2018. Al was born on October 22, 1925 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania.  He is preceded in death by his parents; Albert and Anna Paustenbach and  is survived by his wife; Shirley, his sons, Dennis(Peggy)  of Wyoming, and Gary (Pam)of Ohio, stepdaughter, Debbie (Gene) Vincent of Amelia,  and grandchildren; Mark, Anna (Dan), Kevin and Kelli (Josh), step grandchildren Tracey and Jessica and   one great grandchild Naomi.  Al was a US Army Air Force veteran of WWII. Funeral service 11AM on Monday June 18, at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery with military honors.  A Christian wake service will be held on Sunday evening at the funeral home at 7:30PM.  The family will receive friends prior to the wake service beginning at 6PM.
