Alice McCraw Easter, age 84, of Amelia, passed away on December 9, 2012.  She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde and grandson Quinton.  She is survived by her sons Robert Easter and wife Shirley, Russell Easter, and William Easter and wife Diane, all of Amelia; sister Beulah Williams of Amelia; grandchildren Travis, Audrey, Amanda, W.C. and Jerry, and three great grandchildren.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday December 11, 2012 from 6-8:00 pm at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  A Church service will be held at Salem United Methodist Church at 11:00 am on Wednesday December 12, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Salem UMC or the Amelia Day Committee.
