Alice Juliet Gilliam, age 80, of Amelia, passed from this life on June 22, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Gilliam and daughter, Jancy Lassiter, and is survived by her daughter, Linda Herrera of Amelia, and two grandchildren Billy Hendrick and Pam Roberson and two great grandchildren Xander and Alex and a special brother-in- law Bill. Funeral service Friday 1PM at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. with burial following at 3PM at Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Richmond. Visiting at the funeral home 6-8PM on Thursday.
