Alice Irene Hammonds, age 86, of Jetersville went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2014.  She is survived by her husband, Thomas, her children, Gail Cook, Sharon Little, Sandra Hall all of Crewe, Elizabeth Dye of North Carolina, Thomas, of Jetersvlle, and Clifford of Nottoway,  sister, Nellie Doby of Norton, Va., fourteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.  Funeral services 4PM on Sunday June 8, at the Lighthouse Church of God of Prophecy   2039 East Patrick Henry Highway Burkeville, Va. with burial 11AM Monday at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia.  Visitation will be from 2-4 Sunday at the church prior to the service.
