Alma Gills King, age 94, of Rice, Va. went to be with the Lord on Dec. 19, 2015. She is preceeded in death by her husband, Weldon F. King, seven siblings (Miles Gills, Tommy Gills, Ruth Emerson, Essie Pope, Lucille Estes, John Gills, and Joe Gills) and is survived by her daughters, Phyllis and son-in-law Paul Norris of Middlebrook, Va. , and Irene and son-in-law Dan Williamson of Powhatan, her sister, Dean Busic Dugger of Amelia, three grandchildren (Erin Pursley, Kristie McGuigan and husband Joshua, Paul Williamson and wife Sharon) and four great grandchildren Wyatt Flave Pursley, Samuel Anthony McGuigan, Jacob Henry McGuigan, and Wesley Thomas McGuigan.  Funeral services 2:00 p.m.on Monday December 21 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church 25450 E. Saylers Creek Road Jetersville, Va. 23083 with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at Noon. Contributions may be made to Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
