Argylee "Lee" Bayse Shook, born on October 27 1942, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away Friday, August 8 2025 at the age of 82. She was at home surrounded by family and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Carlos Shook, Sr. and parents: Argle and Florence Bayse, brother, Michael Bayse and infant children David and Paula Sue. She is survived by her children: Joanne Moore (Gary), Deleca Barker (Robert), Carlos Marshall, Paul Bailey (Chelsea), Esther Danielle Evans and stepdaughter, Melissa Perkins. She has thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Also, left to cherish her memory are one sister, Debra Hutton (Butch) and nephews and family and a host of cousins. Special thanks to Ascend Hospice for the faithful care given to Argylee and her family. Service will be at Hillsman Hix Funeral Home in Amelia Court House on Friday, August 15. Visitation will be from 11am - 1pm and service at 1pm. Interment to follow at Moore's Methodist Cemetery.
