Mrs. Barbara Jane Yerkes, age 74 of Amelia passed from this life on December 28, 2009. She is survived by her husband Derwood R. Yerkes and her sister, Patricia Claus of Pennsylvania. Services and interment are private for the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home of Amelia.
