Mr. Benjamin R. Brookshire, age 83, of Amelia, Va. formerly of Aragan, Georgia, passed from this life on Dec. 16, 2009. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Brookshire and is survived by his brother, Doyle Brookshire also of Amelia, Virginia. Mr. Brookshire drove a bus for the MARTA system in Atlanta for many years and was formerly of East Point, Georgia. Graveside services will be held on Saturday Dec. 19, 2009 at 1:00PM at Aragan Cemetery in Aragan, Georgia. Arrangements are by the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. Amelia, Virginia.
