Bernice Heath Donathan, age 79, of Amelia passed from this life on August 29, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, Edward L. Donathan, Sr., she is survived by her sons, Edward L. Donathan, Jr. of Powhatan, Ronald Page Donathan of Amelia, her daughter, Patricia Irene Saunders of Chesterfield, brothers, Carl and Berkley Heath both of Powhatan, sister, Mary Ann Dunkley of Hanover, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services 1:00PM on Tuesday Sept. 2, at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court Street in Amelia with burial in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home Sunday August 31, from 6:00-8:00PM.
