Wilson, Bertie F., 81, of Powhatan, VA, formerly Amelia, VA passed away peacefully on January 1, 2018. She is survived by her husband Archie G. Wilson, two daughters Melissa Dixon (David) and Mary Anne Woodel (Walter), and four grandchildren Benjamin and Luke Dixon and Connor and Courtney Woodel. She has 3 remaining sisters June Neel, Peggy Fowler, and Barbara Guardino (Stanley), 1 brother George Franklin (Rose), and one deceased sister Clayta Anderson. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, January 4 at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St., Amelia, VA 23002 with interment following in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
