Betty C. Barnard, age 77, of Amelia, passed away on June 22, 2011. She was predeceased by her husband Irvin, and is survived by son Chester Barnard and daughter Amanda Covington, both of Amelia; brothers Jacob and Thomas Cave and sister Barbara Judy Edwards all of Amelia; three granddaughters, two grandsons and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday June 23, 2011, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St., where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
