Betty Louise Boyd, age 86, of Richmond passed from this life on March 15, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alex and son Donald Lee Boyd, and granddaughter, Kelly Kirby, and is survived by her sons, Alexander Boyd III , Richard Boyd(Etta) , and Lawrence Boyd (Brenda) all of Chesterfield, daughter Susan Dawson (Dave) of Mechanicsville, sister, Marjorie C. Brooks, brothers, John P. Mann, Roy W. Mann, Stanley W. Mann, and Kenneth W. Mann , seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Special thanks to her caregiver Helen Berry, At Home Care, and Hospice of Va. for their care. Funeral services 11AM on Monday March 19, at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial in Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home Sunday 2-5PM.
