Betty C. Donathan, age 62, of Powhatan, passed away on November 14, 2011. She is survived by her husband Edward, sons Michael Lee Donathan of Henrico and Gregory Joseph Donathan of Glen Allen; brothers Lynwood and Joseph Creech of Richmond; sister Ellen Dean of Midlothian, and two grandchildren, Ryan and Annika Donathan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 17 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 18 at 12:00 noon, with burial to follow in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery. Contributions may be made to either the American Stroke Association or the American Heart Association.
