Betty Eggleston, age 63, of Amelia, passed away on November 5, 2016.  She is survived by her partner Jerry Shank, son Tobias and his wife Nicole of Richmond; sisters Barbara Golden of Amelia, Linda Zink of VA Beach, Gale Jenkins of Amelia; and brother Dale Eggleston of FL.  The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday November 11, at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  A chapel service is set for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday November 12 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Amelia Presbyterian Church.
