Mrs. Beverly Ann Payne, age 70, passed away in her home on October 16, 2026.



Beverly was born in Virginia to Margie Alder and was adopted by Maurice and Hazel Payne of Crewe, Virginia.


Beverly is survived by her sons: Michael Whitaker (Jennifer), Jason Whitaker (Angie), her daughter: Betsy Whitaker, her brothers: Mike Johnson and Howard Boyd Alder, and her grandchildren: Seth, Cameron, Cara, and Summer Whitaker and step-grandchildren: Nathan, Andrew, Nick, and Daniel.

She will also be deeply missed by her Sister-by Heart- Janice Boggs, her co-workers, and many other family and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her parents: Maurice and Hazle Payne, her birth mother- Margie Alder, and her brother- Ernest Alder.

Beverly was a Christian who loved God, her family and friends, and her country. She enjoyed cooking, listen to music, and loved her job at Centra helping others.
