Billie Jean Sowers , 75, of Amelia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, died January 8, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford E. and Belva P. Sowers, and by her brother-in-law, Norman E Mansini. The family wishes to thank the nursing homes and everyone for their help and kindness through the years. She is survived by two sisters, Doris S. Royall (Frederick L.) and Judy S. Mansini, eight nieces and nephews, a number of great nieces and nephews, and one great great nephew. Friends will be received at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, Amelia, on Sunday January 11, 2009 from 4-6:00 p.m. Funeral Services are private with burial in the Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery.
