Carole C. Midkiff, age 72, of Amelia, passed from this life on April 6, 2014.  Predeceased by her parents Hampton and Myrtle Wilkins Curry and is survived by her husband, Robert, her son, Timothy of Amelia, daughters, Sherry Jernigan of Chester, and Donna Talley of Urbanna, six grandchildren and eight grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday April 9, 2014 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court Street in Amelia with burial following at 1PM at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church 18100 Genito Road Moseley, Va. Visiting at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00PM.
