Carolyn Collins, age 78 of Amelia, went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2021.  She was welcomed into heaven by her son, Roy Collins, Jr.  She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Roy Collins, Sr., her daughter Arnita Patterson (Reggie) and her son Tim Collins (Carolyn); six grandchildren, Niqui, Jennifer, Dew (Timothy), Erica, Tre, and Austin, along with numerous great-grandchildren and her sister, Shirley Matthews, to cherish her memory.  The family will receive friends on Monday June 28, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday June 29 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Bermuda Memorial Park in Chester.
