Carolyn White Morris, age 84, of Jetersville, VA, passed away peacefully on November 5th, surrounded by her family. Born on July 4th, 1942 in Greensboro, NC. Carolyn was the beloved wife, mother, Mimi, and great Mimi of a family who will forever cherish her love, guidance, and memories. Throughout her life, Carolyn was known for her firecracker personality, her devotion to her family and faith, and her big heart. She found joy in taking care of her yard and flowers, feeding her birds, and being known as Mimi. She had a fond love of pets, dogs were her favorite. Her dog Troubles was her most memorable one. She always loved the holidays and decorating for each and every one of them. Through Willie’s job she got to travel the world, she got to go on so many trips throughout the US and overseas. London was her favorite, she truly cherished those trips and memories. She worked over 25 years as a bookkeeper for Dicks Place, she always had a knack for numbers. She dedicated over 10 years to volunteering as the Chairperson for Relay For life, she truly loved to help others any way she could and had a special way of making those around her feel loved. Above all, Carolyn treasured her family and friends. She will be remembered for the lasting impact she made on every life she touched. Carolyn is survived by her husband Willie Morris. Her sons Kevin Morris and Todd Morris (Companion, Sharon). Her grandchildren Brittany Dillon (Bryce), Lindsey Gryder (Peyton), Jamie Williams (Hunter), Kacee Dunn (Bobby), Camdon Mills, and Chase Morris (Companion, Autumn). Her great grandchildren Chesney, Decker, Calla, Goldie, Crew, Ridge, Olive, Colbie, and Westin. Her sisters Ruth Stephens, Betty Hildebrand, Nancy Clark (Ron), & Sarah Ellett. Son in law John Mills, and tons of nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Morris Mills, her father Hubert White, her mother Hazel White, her brother David White, her sister Brenda Rountree, her sister Joyce Blalock, and her daughter in law Sasha Morris. A service celebrating Carolyn’s life will be held on November 13th at 11 am at Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Jetersville, VA. Visitation will be held prior on November 12th from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Relay For Life, CancerLINC, Amelia Emergency Squad, or Sandy Creek Baptist Church. Though Carolyn may be gone from our sight, the love she shared will remain in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
