Charles Benjamin Redman, age 82, of Amelia, passed from this life on April 6, 2015.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Flora Combs Redman and is survived by his sons, Benjamin of Cumberland, Charles W. and Abraham of Amelia, and John F. of Missouri, his daughters, Juanita E. Redman and Marie Almarode both of Amelia, Mae Bryan of Powhatan and Lynnie Dalton of Prospect, eighteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  Mr. Redman was an Army Veteran of the Korean War era.  Funeral services Friday 7PM at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial on Saturday 1PM at the Combs Family Cemetery in Bluefield West Virginia .  Visiting at the funeral home Friday evening from 5PM until time of service.
