Charles T. Eudailey Jr., age 92 of Manboro, passed away on January 12, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents Charles T. and Neta S. Eudailey, wife Martha W., son John W., and sister Elizabeth E. Waldrop. He is survived by one nephew. Charles graduated from Manchester High School in 1948 and attended two years of business school in Richmond, VA. He then served two years in the Army during the Korean War with the 756th Field Artillery Battalion in Wurzburg, Germany. After retiring from the Jewel Tea Co. with 35 years of service, he worked with Standard Coffee for another 15 years. Charles was a board member with the Amelia Historical Society, and the treasurer with Terrapin Neck Grange #932. A special thanks to his caregiver Torie Atkins and his two hospice nurses, Alicia Hazzard and Leronda Jeter. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. The family will recieve friends on Wednesday January 18, at 1:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home until 1:45 when they will depart for the chapel at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd., where services will be held at 2:00 p.m.
