Charles Raymond Smith, age 90, of Amelia passed from this life on July 9, 2009. Preceded in death by his wife, Lydia F. Smith, he is survived by his son, Lawrence E. Falls, and two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services to be held on Sunday July 12, at 2PM at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home with burial in the Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery. Visiting to be held 6-8PM at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home in Amelia on Saturday evening.
