JOHNSON, Chisholm Page "Chris", 82,  of Amelia, VA, passed away on November 7, 2012.  He retired as a landfill operator from Nottoway County. He was predeceased by brothers, Charles, James, Joseph and sister Lucy Emerson.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years,  Elizabeth "Liz" Johnson, son David  Johnson of Crewe,  daughters Karen Redford (Barry) and Janice  Ragan (Willie) of Burkeville.  Also surviving are three grandchildren, Heather  Stevens (Scott), Dylan  Ragan, and Christopher  Redford and two great-granddaughters, Samantha  and Elizabeth Stevens.  Also survived by brothers, Lewis  (Alice), Robert  (Judy), Richard  (Janice), Clifton  (Pat) and sister Christine  Gough (Paul) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, Amelia, VA, on Friday, November 9th  from 6:30 to 8:00 PM with graveside services at Union Baptist Church, Paineville, VA on Saturday, November 10th at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
