It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christina Pollard Vaughan, the cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved friend who left this world on June 8, 2026 at the age of 53. Born in Richmond on March 28, 1973 to Jimmy and Sheila Pollard, Christina was a bright light to all who knew her. Christina Pollard Vaughan is survived by her husband Doug Vaughan, her six children, Alex Cheesman, Brandon Cheesman, Emma, Sarah, James and Samantha Vaughan, her parents Jimmy and Sheila Pollard and her brother Daniel Pollard. Christina lived her life with unwavering love and commitment to her family. She was not only a devoted wife and mother, but also the homemaker and a supportive partner on the family farm. She had a strong love for the animals, nature and all of God's creation. Her presence will be sorely missed by her family.There will be a church service and visitation held on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Christ Family Outreach at 6:00 pm. Family, friends, and everyone else is invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Christina's life during this time. There will be a graveside service where Christina's body will be laid to rest on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 4:00 pm at the family farm located at 3335 Dutchtown Rd., Burkeville, VA 23922. With Christina's passing into the presence of God, the family intends to not only celebrate her life and mourn the loss of her, but first and foremost honor her as the blessing that God provided for her family.
