Clarabel P. Elswick, age 86, of Amelia, passed from this life on August 17, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Zanie Elswick and her son, Alfred, and is survived by her son, Wonnie Elswick of Powhatan and her grandchildren, Susan Lindsey and Charmett, and Bridget and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services 11AM on Saturday at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court ST. in Amelia, with burial in the Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home Friday evening from 6-8PM.
