Dale Kenneth Whitlock, age 76, of Powhatan, passed from this life on March 17, 2020.  He is survived by his wife Myrtle; son Barry of Hampton, Va.; daughter Deborah Strickland of Rockfort, Tennessee; his grandson David Robinson of Fredericksburg, VA & granddaughter Nicole Whitlock of Chesapeake, VA.  Dale served his country during the Vietnam era in the US Air Force and was retired as equipment manager in the construction business.  For public health reasons the services will be held privately on Wednesday March 25, 2020 at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery 10300 Pridesville Road in Amelia with military honors.  Also, due to the health advisory there will not be visitation at the funeral home.
