Daniel "Danny" Tarrant, 53, passed away on July 29, 2025, in Jetersville, Virginia. Born on December 6, 1971, in Edmond, Oklahoma, Danny lived a life defined by passion, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to living fully.Danny was a man of many talents and boundless energy. Over the course of his life, he embraced countless roles-surfer, dog musher, musician, teacher, mentor, artist, sculptor, woodworker, soldier, tractor enthusiast, farmer. Each pursuit reflected his adventurous spirit and refusal to let any dream be too big. Whether carving wood or riding waves, Danny poured his heart into everything he did.His service to country was marked by dedication and honor. Danny spent 18 years in the Virginia Army National Guard and rose to the rank of Major. His military career was a testament to his leadership and sense of duty.Family was central to Danny's world. He is survived by his loving wife Rebecca; sons Zachariah (26) and Alexander (23); daughter Penelope (6); stepdaughter Evelyn (15); mother Michelle; brother Michael and sister-in-law Shelly; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.Danny's legacy is one of inspiration-he lived every day with intention and joy. His creativity knew no bounds; whether through music or sculpture or teaching others a new skill, he left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a reminder that life is meant to be lived boldly and with love. A Funeral will be held on August 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Tarrant Farm 21300 Farmers Ln. There will also be a celebration of life at a later date.
