David Larry Fitts, age 55, of Amelia, passed away on February 22, 2012. He is survived by Debbie Fitts, son Charlie and wife Niki Fitts; two grandchildren, Camryn and Shelby; parents James Fitts and Frances Joines; sister Ann Smith of Amelia; and brothers Marvin, James, and Paul Fitts. The family will receive friends on Friday February 24, from 6-8 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. A chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday February 25, 2012 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Graceland Baptist Cemetery in Powhatan.
