David J. Slick Munden, age 64, of Amelia passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph H. Munden, and is survived by his wife Peggy Y. Munden; sons, Justin Munden and Jeffrey Lingerfelt (Cheryl); one grandchild, Kayla Lingerfelt; mother Rose Munden; sisters Dorothy Amos (David), Kathleen Farmer (Paul), and Carol Foster (Frankie), and two nephews, Trey Amos (Stephanie) and P.J. Farmer. David owned and operated Daves Sport Shop for 38 years, and was known nation-wide as a gunsmith and avid sportsman. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 p.m. on January 16, 2010 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday January 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Love Covenant Fellowship, 17897 W Pridesvile Rd. in Amelia, with burial to follow in Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery.
