David Courtney Perrin, age 82 of Amelia, passed away on July 6, 2022. Born in Richmond, VA, to Raymond and Dorothy Perrin, he grew up in Lakeside and attended Hermitage High School. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Raymond H. Perrin, David is survived by his wife Charlotte Morrison Perrin, and children Dana Highsmith (C.K.), Bonnie Bayly, and David C. Perrin, Jr. (Charlotte), granddaughter Jenna Powell (Andrew), great-grandson Jett Wade Powell, and sister Dottie Carter (Paul). David was a 50-year member of the St. Johns Lodge No. 36. Our sincere thanks to Community Hospice House, 1133 Old Bon Air Rd., for the loving care from their wonderful staff.  Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday July 11, at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia, with burial to follow at Union Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
