Dennis Lee Fanning, age 60, of Tappahannock, Va., formerly of Amelia, passed from this life on September 2, 2016.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Calvin Fanning and Mary Ellen Tinker Fanning, and is survived by his daughter, Chrystal Dacey of Laneview, Va., his son, Charles Fanning of Amelia, sisters, Darlene F. Leiser of Colorado, Patricia Harmon of Tappahannock, and five grandchildren.  Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday September 7, 2016 at Piedmont Baptist Cemetery 17801 Genito Road in Amelia, Va. 23002.  Condolences may be made at www.hillsmanhix.com.
