Dicie L. Jones, age 92, of Blackstone, formerly of Crewe, passed from this life on Oct. 10, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil S. Jones and is survived by her daughters, Mary Fleming , Lucille Martin and Jane E. Jones all of Crewe, sons, Charles Henry Jones of Dolphin , Va., and Thomas Clayton Jones of Crewe, , sisters, Brownie Harbin of Westminister, S. C. and Verde Roop of Burkeville. , twelve grandchildren and twenty eight great grandchildren. Funeral services 11AM on Saturday at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with interment in Little Flock Primitive Baptist Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00PM on Friday.
