Doma Thacker Skipper, age 87, of Amelia, passed from this life on April 24, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Frederick Stuart Skipper, Sr.; sons, Frederick Jr., Philip, Samuel; daughters, Angie, Delores, and Frances, sister, Ruby, and numerous grandchildren. Mrs. Skipper was a retired seamtress from the Amelia Dress Factory. Funeral services will be held on Tues. 1PM at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial following in Mattoax Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home Monday evening from 6-8PM.
