Donald Lee Morris was born on a Monday, November 19, 1956 and passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Monday March 9th, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents Calvert W. Morris , Sr. and Annie Inez Morris and his sister Freda Morris Hamrick and his nephew Joshua Morris.
Donald is survived by his loving wife and best friend Diana Morris, his two cherished sons, Nicholas Lee Morris ( Millie) and Travis William Morris ( his daughter in law Brittany Morris and his soon to be first granddaughter, Myla Faye Morris.
He also leaves behind his devoted brother Gary Morris (Donna), his brother CW Morris and his dear sister JoAnne Morris who lovingly interceded in prayer for him daily.
Donald was blessed with a devoted sister in law Patricia Hill who helped care for him much during his illness. Other survivors include his brothers in laws Garnet Moon ( Bev) and David Moon (Bonnie)his sister in law Emma Mendel (John) and his mother in law , Aurelia Moon. He is survived by many nieces and nephews ( April, Caroline, Adam, Houston, Brent, Ashley, Zach, Nikki, Mark , Stephanie, Shannon, Aaron, Sierra, Casey, Logan, Camron, Randy, Courtney, Jessica and Katie) and many great nieces and nephews.
Donald worked for Amelia Telephone/ TDS Telephone for 49 years and took great pride in a job done right the first time. He was a simple man who believed in treating people right, always doing the right thing, enjoying his home in the woods, driving his tractor, piddling in his garage and cruising around in the 55 Chevy truck he restored, watching the Washington Redskins back in the good old days, and just hanging out with his wife and sons.
Donald will be missed immensely but his family takes great solace knowing they will be reunited one day.
