Doris Smith, beloved wife of James Smith, devoted mother of Michael and Daniel Smith, cherished sister of Shirley Booth, Margaret Prevatt, and Bobby Trear, peacefully passed away on May 17, 2024. Born on September 12, 1952, Doris was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. Doris, a proud member of Arbor Baptist Church, found joy in her faith and shared that joy with her community. Her warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and love. In honor of Doris's life, a Funeral Service will be held at Arbor Baptist Church on May 21, 2024, at 11:00 am. Prior to the service, a Family Viewing will take place at Arbor Baptist Church on May 20, 2024, from 6-8:00 pm. Interment will be private As we gather to celebrate her life, let us remember Doris as the beacon of light she was - a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend.
