Dorothy Davis Coleman, age 85, of Amelia, passed from this life on August 23, 2015.  She is preceded in death by her husband Clay Neal Coleman; son Jerry; brothers Marvin, James and Whitey Davis.  She is survived by her daughters Linda C. Phillips(Tim) and Sarah C. McMillion (Allen), both of Amelia, eight grandchildren and seven  great grandchildren. Also survived by her brothers, J. B. Davis and Billy Davis and sister Clara Fleming.  Funeral services 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial  in the Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery.  The family will receive friends beginning at 11AM until 12:45PM on Wed. prior to the service.  Contributions may be made to the Amelia Rescue Squad or Amelia Baptist Church in her memory.  Condolences at www.hillsmanhix.com.
