Dorothy Long Coleman, age 92, was born Feburary 21, 1922 and passed away Sunday November 2, 2014.  She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Lee Coleman and her son Richard Lee Coleman.  She is survived by her sister Ruby Lee Dillard (Garfield), her daughter, Anne Coleman (Richard), and son W. David Coleman (Diane), all of Amelia; grandchildren Cindy James (Richard), Carter Samuels (Jeff), Beth Dawson (Kenneth), John David Morris (Lara), Kelly Morris (Audra), Kristy Minton (John), David Coleman (Melissa), Dawn Amiss (Phillip) and Daniel Coleman (Pam), and 28 great grandchildren.  Dorothy was a retired Rural Letter Carrier and Bookkeeper at Amelia Lumber Company.  The family would like to thank Diane and Brad Easter and their staff for their loving care.  A very special thanks to Yvonne Brown for her dedicated care, and Leander Scott for his friendship and special visits.  The family will receive friends at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia on Tuesday November 4 from 6-8:00 p.m.  A graveside service will be held at Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday November 5, 2014.
