Douglas MacArthur Handy, Jr. "Butch", age 47, of Amelia, passed from this life on July 11, 2014.  He is preceded in death by his father, Douglas M. Handy, Sr. and is survived by his mother, Sandra I. Handy, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Funeral services 4PM Monday at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial in Rennie Memorial Cemetery.  Visiting at the funeral home Sunday from 6:00-8:00PM.
