Edith Long Llewellyn , age 92, of Amelia, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 9.  A member of Union Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years William Long, and her second husband Vance Llewellyn of Amelia.  She is survived by her brother Randolph McMillian (Gladys)  of Richmond; sisters Harriet Barden of Amelia, Aline Stewart of Nottoway and Patsy Verser of Crewe; her children Jerry Long (Brenda) of Chesterfield and Jane Rogers (William) of Amelia.  Edith is also survived by five grandchildren, Wendy Gill (Doug), Scott Long (Karen), Julee Ozmore (Steve), Lori Byrd (David), Darryl Rogers and thirteen great grandchildren.  As the apostle Paul said "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."  Well done good and faithful servant.  A chapel service is scheduled for Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial to follow at Union Baptist Cemetery.  The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Union Baptist Church, 22110 Genito Rd.
