Edna Vernon Owens, age 94, of Richmond went to be with the Lord on Dec. 6, 2008. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Anna Vernon of Abingdon, sisters, Laura Vernon Wilson of Richmond, Elsie Cleaton of Norfolk, and twenty two nieces and nephews. Funeral services Monday 2PM at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial in Rennie Memorial Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home 6-8PM Sunday. Contributions may be made to donors favorite charity.
