Eldridge Monroe Anderson, Jr. , age 90, of Amelia, passed away on December 28, 2016.  He is preceded in death by his wife Vernell Hall Anderson and is survived by his daughters;  Sandra Negaard (Dave) of Amelia and Susan McMillion (Scott) of NC; grandchildren Kathy Easter, Laura Tillett, Rachael Seal, Zach McMillion and Ethan McMillion; and great-grandchildren Elena Easter, Graham Easter, Jake Oxner, Sonya Oxner, Liam Tillet, Celeste Seal and Caleb Seal.  The family will receive friends on Friday, December 30, 2016  from 11:00-1:00 pm at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St., with a chapel service at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Little Flock Cemetery with military honors.
