Elizabeth LaVern King, age 93,of Chesterfield, surrounded by her daughters went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2016 . She is preceded in death by her husband, Stacy and son Garland. Also, preceded in death by siblings, Wilbur, Maurice, Marvin, Alvin and sister Vivian Harver. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ward of Midlothian, Doris Ruiz [Phil] of Chester, Evelyn Adams[Terry] of Amelia, Frankie King of Chesterfield,  ten grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.  Also survived by brothers, Curtis Harver of Henrico,  Norman Harver of Amelia,  sister, Margaret Webb of  Jetersville, brother-in-law Herbert  King of Chesterfield: sister-in-law Lilia Gills of Amelia and long time companion Brenda Gaskill.  Funeral services Friday 1:00 PM at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with interment in the Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home from 6-8PM Thursday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cemetery Funds of Rennie Memorial or Amelia Presbyterian Churches  of Amelia.
