Elizabeth Anderson Morris was born to Ida Mae Hawks and Ephraim Anderson in Amelia on September 21, 1917 and passed away on July 2, 2014.
She was preceded in death by husband, Irving French Morris, son, David Anderson Morris and siblings: Dorothy A. Woods, Alison A. Boyles, Margaret (Kitty) A. Willing, John (Sonny) Anderson, William Anderson, George Anderson, Thomas Buster Anderson, and Douglas Anderson.
Elizabeth is survived by two daughters: Betty B. Villers (Jim) and Rebecca M.Blankenship (Harold "Bud"); grandchildren including, Karen Avery (Chris), Scott Blankenship (Angela), Michael Blankenship (Libby), Kenneth Blankenship, Cheryl Blankenship and Elizabeth Morris Haney (Jason); great-grandchildren: Carson, Taylor and Rachel Avery; Chandler and Christian Blankenship; Ryan, Jacob and Andrew Blankenship; Lucas Blankenship and Carter Haney and her siblings, Joseph (Virginia) and Aubrey (Christine) Anderson, Shirley Martin and Ernestine Poore and many nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was a faithful member of Amelia Baptist Church for 74 years and attended Tomahawk Baptist Church for the past few years. She devoted her life to caring for and loving her family. She cherished her new found friends at Brandermill Woods her last few years.

The family will receive friends on Saturday July 5 from 5-7 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. A church service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 6 at Amelia Baptist Church with burial to follow at Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery
