Elwood G. Phillips, age 53, of Amelia, passed from this life on June 22, 2011. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph and sisters, Hazel Gay and Vanessa Patrick and is survived by his wife, Sharon, son Jody, and daughter, Suzie all of Amelia and his mother Mesa Phillips of Hopewell and brother, Keith Phillips of Prince George. Funeral services 11AM on Sat. June 25, 2011 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial at 1PM at Southlawn Memorial Park in Petersburg.
