Emma L. Havens, age 99, of Amelia, passed from this life on May 1, 2016.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Trinkle Green Havens, her mother and father, William Walter Glass and Demmie Church Glass and is survived by her daughter, Cathy Sims also of Amelia, seventeen grandchildren and many many great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Thursday May 5, 2016 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial following at 1PM at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Hopewell, VA.  The family will receive friends Wed. evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
