Ernest Henry Horst, age 73, of Amelia, was born into eternal life on the birth date of his savior  on December 25, 2016.  He is predeceased by his parents; Carl August Horst and Susan Ada Smith Horst and is survived by his brother, Carl of Chesterfield, sisters, Elsie Paulette and Manda Gravley both of Amelia, and nieces and nephews.   Funeral services 1:00PM on Wed. Dec. 28, 2016 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial following in the Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery.  The family will receive friends for refreshments after the funeral in the hospitality facility at the funeral home.
